Submission Guidelines
Guidelines for Electronic Submission
Institutions must follow these guidelines when submitting substantive change applications to GEQC. The deadline for submission is October 31, 2024. If your institution plans to submit an application after this date, please contact GEQC staff for further consultation.
Substantive Change Applications
Institutions may submit applications for the following types of substantive changes:
- Change in Educational Offerings Application
- Addition of a New Administrative Site Application
- Addition of On-Site Programs Application
- Engaging in International Activities Application
- Change of Location Application
- Change in Core Mission Application
- Change of Institution Name Application
- Change in Legal Status, Form of Control, or Ownership Application
- Participation in Financial Assistance Programs Application
- Creation of a New Division Application
Substantive Change Reports
For approved substantive changes, institutions must submit the following reports:
- Educational Offerings Report – Degree Programs
- Educational Offerings Report – Non-Degree Programs
- Educational Offerings Report – Vocational or Specialized Programs
- Contracting for Educational Delivery Report
- Academic Units of Measurement Report
- Addition of a New Administrative Site Post-Approval Report
- Addition of On-Site Programs Post-Approval Report
- Engaging in International Activities Post-Approval Report
- Change of Location Post-Approval Report
- Change of Core Mission Post-Approval Report
- Change of Institution Name Post-Approval Report
- Change in Legal Status, Form of Control, or Ownership Post-Approval Report
- Participation in Financial Assistance Programs Report
- New Division Post-Approval Report
- Follow-up on Program Implementation Report
