To be eligible for GEQC certification, educational institutions must meet the following criteria:
- Accreditation or Licensing
- The institution must be legally recognized in its home country and authorized to operate as an educational provider. This includes possessing any necessary national or regional accreditation or licensing.
- Operational History
- The institution should have been operational for at least two years and demonstrate a consistent record of delivering educational programs during that period.
- Program Offerings
- Institutions must offer at least one post-secondary degree or diploma program. These programs must be structured to meet industry and academic standards and include defined learning outcomes.
- Commitment to Quality Improvement
- The institution must demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in educational quality and student outcomes.
Financial Stability Requirements
Institutions seeking GEQC certification must also provide evidence of financial stability, including:
- A history of positive financial performance.
- Adequate funding to support the institution's operations and educational programs.
- Documentation such as financial statements and audits for the past two years.
Compliance with Ethical Standards
Institutions must comply with GEQC’s ethical standards, including:
- Transparent marketing and recruitment practices.
- Fair policies regarding student admissions and refunds.
- Commitment to academic integrity.
